Richmond is a very old city, but I was surprised at the state of some of the downtown area. Still, I try to find beauty even in the ugly. See the pics below…

The last picture is from the Edgar Allen Poe Museum which, I was surprised to learn, is in a house from his time, but that he never lived in. Still it was cool to see original manuscripts written in his own hand.
