Spent the day down in the Mall area of DC. I was surprised that every exhibit and museum is free. Playing around with B/W. I think that some buildings look a lot better this way – more moody.

You’ll notice the shot above doesn’t look as good in B/W though. I think it has something to do with the obviously modern bench in the foreground – and yet, the obviously modern subway below does seem to work. Not sure what it is.

Will head further south tomorrow. Looking for a place to settle in for a week or so. Maybe around Richmond or Norfolk. Will know when I get there.
