Boondocking Outside Phoenix

RV Boondock Camp

After watching the inauguration, I packed up camp and headed out to a piece of state land that I had scoped out last week. Free camping, great Internet reception, privacy and even closer to civilization. Can’t beat that.

Wayne, if you’re nearby, come meet us at the Slabs, near Niland, Salton Sea area. We’ll be here for at least another week. I think you’d find this place pretty interesting, and it would be great to meet you!

I definitely plan on hitting the Slabs this winter, I’ve never been there but it definitely sounds interesting. I’m doing the hermit thing right now while I work on my book, so I probably won’t see you there. The warm weather band is pretty narrow, so I’m sure we’ll meet up soon and I’m looking forward to it!

Can’t blame you for hermiting. Jim and I need to do that too. For now though, this place is to much fun with too many distractions.

Get here by March if you can, it starts getting realllllly hot after that.

Hope to meet up out in the desert. Take care!
