Waking Up

For the last week or so I have been waking up – experiencing first-hand what is often called enlightenment. It is tenuous though, so I have been hesitant to update this blog as much as normal because the act of writing and relating re-activates the ego (the conditioned Wayne), which, though weak, is waiting for his chance to jump back in and grab the reins.
Still, I want you all to know that I am all right. When the ego, writer, photographer, Wayne-illusion gets too strong, I seem, for now, to be able to do a short meditation that brings me back to recognizing myself as Source (the still, radiant, oneness within all of us).
Funny thing is… it has been there all the time. Source is what is seeing these words that your mind is reading (Source(You) is perceiving what your mind is translating).

Of course “the conditioned Wayne” is trying to jump back in! It’s the part that is needed to communicate with the rest of us in the earth! It is needed to teach the rest of us about the Source, to enlighten us. It is much more peaceful to experience enlightenment, but how is that helping humanity? Your soul is in the earth for a purpose. What is that purpose, Wayne?

I dig you , Nan (and Wayne, it is clear she is your mom ;> LOL). You sound like a very wise person.
A friend wisely once said to me “What good is all your awareness for humanity if you are unreachable in your cave?”.

Agreed Nan & Kimberlely – Sharing knowledge, to light the way for others as we tread and light our own path is immortal. Wayne upon waking this morning i start with meditation and listen to some mantras, chanting away just happened to read the meaning of the chant. Thought to share its beautiful.

Feel it to be a frequency of joy that comes in the moments when one sees the bigger perspective – the “Aha” moments, those we celebrate within touching others in the same way..
