My Selfish Secret

The Mysterious Future

The Mysterious Future

Besides helping others, I had a secret, 100% totally selfish reason for writing Mystical Oneness and the Nine Aspects of Being: I wrote it for my future self.

For most of my life, I felt reincarnation was for suckers—gullible people who couldn’t accept the well known “fact” that we just blink out at death.

I was so wrong. Here’s a link to The Free Soul, the entire chapter on the Soul Aspect of Mystical Oneness, complete with all the evidence included in the book.

Knowing that when I die, I’ll come back to incarnate life, I thought, “What’s the best way to remember—in my next life—everything I learned about enlightenment during this life?”

So the selfish reason I wrote Mystical Oneness was the hope that I’ll come across it in my next life.

Sounds kinda far-fetched I know, but I got the idea from when I first picked up the Tao Te Ching. It resonated with me. I knew I had come across this great work somewhere before. I’m not saying I wrote it, but I’m certain it was important to me in a previous life.

So that’s my secret. Totally selfish, I know. But it’s true.

  1. That is rational, logical reasoning and makes perfect sense, who knows if any of us/ souls come back or not, leaving urself crib notes is cheap insurance.
Don’t know if this is true or not, prevailing eastern theology states that once enlightened, the soul need not come back (to the earthly plane), it has “graduated” to higher dimensions/ level of consciousness.
    Any thoughts on the matter?

    • “once enlightened, the soul need not come back”

I’m familiar with this belief, but I’m not familiar with any evidence of it. I’m not one for beliefs but I guess it depends on what you mean by “enlightenment”.

With my (controversial) definition, the two aren’t related, but your definition may mean something like “all-powerful, all-knowing God-like powers” for with I’d agree reincarnation wouldn’t be necessary.
