Something was wrong. Something was very wrong.

I paused the movie I was watching and looked at the actor’s eyes. His mouth had vanished.

When I looked at his mouth, his neck vanished.

My brain was going. It wasn’t working right. I’ve know for the last couple of days this was happening, but now it was affecting my vision. … Read more…

As I made my way back to Phoenix, as I sought to find a place Morrissette had told me about, as I thought about visiting my family next week, just then a tall dust devil appeared in front of me and I recognized how far from anything I was and I thought, “I’m the only person who sees you,” and She whispered:

Everything is temporary. Everything but us.

And as the whirling column faded away into nothing, I whispered back, “I see you… I see you everywhere.”

Sometimes She sings it to me. Sometimes I sing it to Her: I See You.

I guess in the end… it’s all the same.

And I Said, “Sure.”

Life is hard in the desert. Water is rare, and growth is slow. So every plant has thorns to protect their precious flesh.

One of the greatest benefits of spiritual awakening is that life consistently “lines up.”

Read up on practically any spiritually enlightened person and somewhere in their narrative they will say something similar—that things just work out for them.

This happens so often in my life—I am so lucky—that I am literally surprised when things don’t work out. … Read more…

I’ve been in limbo for the last couple of weeks. Adrift and waiting for some sort of clarity are contrary to my core nature—my Inner Ego Aspect. I like projects and creating and a sense of direction and purpose.

But none of these are clear right now.

So I wait. … Read more…

Mystics: The Rebels Of Spirituality

COTTONWOOD, AZ

January 12, 2017 9:45 AM

Historically, mystics have always had rather short life expectancies. They tended to die young because they were constantly saying stupid things that pissed people off.

Stupid things that somehow made a lot of sense.

So traditionally, the established authorities liked to kill mystics off before they became too big of a problem. Burn ’em, stone ’em, or crucify ’em, I don’t care! Just get rid of them!

Today’s version of this “Kill the Mystic!” mentality is to troll them online. … Read more…
