The Wisdom of Your Heart

Storrie Lake SP, NM—From Nonduality Highlights:

At the end of the talk someone from the audience asked the Dalai Lama, “Why didn’t you fight back against the Chinese?” The Dalai Lama looked down, swung his feet just a bit, then looked back up at us and said with a gentle smile, “Well, war is obsolete, you know.” Then, after a few moments, his face grave, he said, “Of course the mind can rationalize fighting back… but the heart, the heart would never understand. Then you would be divided in yourself, the heart and the mind, and the war would be inside you.”

But the heart, the heart would never understand.

If your heart doesn’t say “Yes,” then just say “No.”

You don’t need to ponder it, or beat yourself up, or second guess yourself.

If asked to explain, just say, “My heart says ‘No.'”

Who could argue with that?

The Stream is a Beautiful Thing

The Stream

As of this writing, 15 people signed up for my offer while one dropped out leaving 14 students.

Though this is much more than I expected (two or three), it is still quite workable and I expect others to drop out soon (or be dropped due to inactivity).

The Stream

As this develops, I’m often surprised by the beauty of how this is unfolding.

For example: My first question to each student is to tell me about their spiritual background—what they believe, follow, subscribe to, or are drawn to.

Their answers, and every question or comment made by either of us, is stored in a private “stream” (in Google Plus) shared only by the two of us (the student and myself).

We—both of us—have access to this private, recorded history so that it is easy to talk on the same playing field. They know where I’m coming from (from this blog), I know where they are coming from (from their Stream).

One-on-one, targeted and informed spiritual guidance. You won’t find that at a satsang, class, conference, or retreat. It’s just not practical.

The Stream is a beautiful thing.

Another beautiful thing about the Stream is I can hold students accountable for their actions. Once the journaling phase starts, I’ll be able to use their beliefs, desires, and ideals against their egoic actions—their conditioned Mortal fears.

In other words—and this is what is meant by the guru being a mirror—I’ll be able to point out where they are not walking the talk, which is the key to true spiritual growth, and why I stress so much that you need to live as as Soul (or Radiance or Oneness) and not just talk about it).

Note to Students

This has come up a couple of times already, so I’ll answer it here. The way I use Google Plus is this:

  • I log in and click on the HOME icon
  • On the left, under STREAM, I click on the private circle I want to focus on (yours)
  • All conversations between me and you (since I only have one student per circle), appear in the main (center) panel.
  • Because I’m “focused” on your circle, I know that any comments or posts I make there go only to you (and vice versa).
  • You and I can review all our “history together” simply by scrolling down our Stream of posts.

Serious Spiritual Seekers Sought

Magic Marble On The Beach

I don’t seek to be famous. Authentic spiritual growth in a few students is far more important to me than repeating broad nondual concepts to a thousand readers/fans

I’m looking to take on a few (virtual) students—people who are serious about waking up.

If you are serious about your spiritual quest—and my message of Mystical Oneness (Mortal to Soul to Radiance to Oneness) resonates with you—then contact me.

  • No set fee. Entirely donation based
  • We’ll use a private circle in Google Plus to communicate one-on-one
  • You journal. I comment/guide

I’m currently doing this with one spiritual seeker and it’s time I take on a few more.

Are you interested?

Why is there a God/Source at all?

A question via Wisdom For Alms:

While I’ve grown in the understanding of God/Source and how we create our own reality, Law of Attraction and the like, the one question that I haven’t come to terms with is why is there ANY of this? Why is there a God/Source at all? This is not asked from an angry or hostile place, just a curious wondering. Thank you for your time. – Gail

Why is there ANY of this? Why is there a God/Source at all?

Mystical Oneness for the Religiously Inclined

The Green Door

CHATTANOOGA, TN—I received a Wisdom for Alms request the other day from a reader with a Christian background. In answering his inquiry about making the Leap of Faith (the transition from Mortal to Soul), I realized that my message (Mystical Oneness) may be more acceptable to the religious than I first suspected.

My reply to his inquiry below the break (huh?).

Finding Your Special Purpose

The Extinct Quiet Waters Park of Deerfield Beach, FL

I received an email via my Wisdom for Alms offer the other day from a young man, Chris, who has many fascinating interests and ideas. Lot’s of neat stuff, but who still doesn’t “quite feel… satisfied.”

Since his “plight” of an overactive mind is one I share, I felt compelled to respond.

Note 1: I am not including Chris’s original email to safeguard some very cool ideas which I suspect he may want to pursue as potential business ventures.

Note 2: Chris found my work via my old Quantum Entanglement Solved in Under 2 Minutes video, so my reply (below the break (huh?)), though still spiritual/mystical, is more “practical.”

Emptiness, Fullness and a Confession

Rock Garden

PALM BAY, FL—By far, Emptiness is the most common “flavor” of enlightenment taught today. Yet lately I have focused on the Fullness aspects. What’s the difference? What worked for me? Which is right for you? My answers below the break (huh?).

The Art of Not Fixing Yourself

Coffee at a Diner

I often receive emails along the lines, “How can I fix myself?” They never say it in those words, but that’s the gist. “I don’t feel the bliss, how do I get that?” “I’m not happy. How do I find happiness?” My answer below the break (huh?).

The Nonduality Quagmire

The Door under the Stairs

PALM BAY, FL–One of the popular approaches to enlightenment today is the path of inquiry. I have a serious problem with this, as most students of it, once they “figure it out,” believe themselves to be awake, when really all they are doing is fooling themselves.

If you don’t feel it, if you don’t feel the Beauty, the Wonder, the Passion, the Light, yes, even the Divine, in you, as you, and around you… then you simply aren’t there yet.

Below is an email from a man who recognizes that he is trapped in a nondual quagmire…

I so badly just want some peace. A loving sense of presence that reassures this body/mind that everything is alright just the way it is. That things are neither wrong nor right… bad or good, that they just are, and as that there is just perfection.

I have read “Sailor Bob”, “John Wheeler”, “Gilbert Schultz”, I had a phone conversation with “Charlie Hayes”, I have met “Byron Katie” at a seminar. My favorite book so far was Perfect Brilliant Stillness by David Carse. I understand there is no personal me… no separate entity. What I am is that presence, that awareness that is knowing all of this. There is only just the one and everything is a manifestation within that.

So why cannot I see through the illusion? Why cannot I see through the separate self? Can it ever happen, can I have any influence towards this?

I know, I know… I, I, I. There is no I to have any influence over anything. I am already that! Jeeze, I am exhausted and yet I cannot stop the seeking. I feel like I am being pulled towards this by a invisible Tractor Beam that won’t let me go, but also won’t let me see through the illusion.

Is there a different way I can approach this? Any ideas you might have would be greatly appreciated. I appreciate your “story”, and your pilgrimage to find answers.

My reply below the break.
