One of the greatest benefits of spiritual awakening is that life consistently “lines up.”
Read up on practically any spiritually enlightened person and somewhere in their narrative they will say something similar—that things just work out for them.
This happens so often in my life—I am so lucky—that I am literally surprised when things don’t work out. … Read more…
Forgive all the videos. I’m going though a “set-up” phase. This one is the lead-in to my YouTube channel. It acts to introduce what makes Mystical Oneness different and what it can do for the viewer.
I’m still playing around with various formats. Maybe I should stick with the slide-show format (ie: above) for the more “technical” stuff and the talking-head format for the softer, more spiritual side. Who knows? You guys know me: Dive in, stumble about, and get beat up until things clarify.

Over the last few days I’ve been loading up my brain with the goal of uncovering a sense of direction:
- A Lifehacker post on focusing your life (NSFW)
- Hanging out with Glenn Morrissette (my current life isn’t about being a surfer dude)

- Acknowledging my Inner Ego Aspect (I love a good project to work on)

I came across this video this morning of David Bowie discussing the future of the internet back in 1999. At around the 1:50 mark he says, “there’s a new demystification process between the artist and the audience,” in reference to how the internet is affecting music.
The same, I hope, can be said for the future of spirituality, particularly the “worship” of many of today’s spiritual teachers. Francis Bennett recently posted his frustration with this very topic and I’ve been talking about it for years (my original(?) post on this subject was back in 2010). … Read more…

The less there is of you, the more there is of Love (and Kindness and Gentleness and Grace and …).
For the new year, maybe we should all focus on becoming less.
Let go of your fears and open.
Let go of your me-me-me worries and allow the Love to flow.
Let go of your self-concerns and act with kindness.
If you are going to resolve anything today, maybe you should keep it simple.
Maybe as simple as this:
Happy New Year.
Enlightenment is when the personal and the impersonal unite. When they unite, all boundaries are seen through and we experience a profound sense of Vastness.
For many, this Vastness feels alive. It feels like the source of Everything. It feels vibrant, like some undefinable Potential, vibrating with an irrepressible inner expectation. … Read more…
